Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) is a kind of non-ionic cellulose mixed ether. It is a semi-synthetic, inactive, viscoelastic polymer. It is often used in ophthalmology as a lubricant, or as an excipient or excipient in oral medicines. It is common in various commodities. HPMC decreases with the decrease of methoxy content, the increase of gel point, the decrease of water solubility, and the decrease of surface activity. 7. HPMC also has the characteristics of thickening ability, salt-resistant low ash powder, pH stability, water retention, dimensional stability, excellent film-forming ability, and extensive enzyme resistance, dispersibility and cohesion.
Application This product is used as thickener, dispersant, binder, excipient, oil-resistant coating, filler, emulsifier and stabilizer in textile industry. It is also widely used in synthetic resin, petrochemical industry, ceramics, paper making, leather, medicine, food and cosmetics industries.
