Organic sysnthesis intermdiate, also used for insecticide. The product has a bright future as a photosensitizer of UV curing resin. The wavelength range of UV sensitization of is wide. Benzoin is below 3400A, and alkyl ether of benzoin is below 3900A. It is below 4800A and can be sensitized in a very wide wavelength range, so it can be used for curing thick film resin,which is a feature not available in the sensitization of UA resin before. And there is no smell after curing, so it is suitable for making printing ink for food packaging.
