Sodium Saccharin
Physical and chemical properties:
Colorless to white rhombic crystal system plate-like crystals or white crystalline weathered powder. No odor or slight odor. Extremely sweet, even in 10000 times aqueous solution, there is still strong sweetness, with a sweetness threshold of about 0.00048%. The sweetness in a dilute solution is about 500 times that of sucrose. When the concentration is thin, it has a sweet taste, and when it is thick (greater than 0.026%), it has a bitter taste. Therefore, when used alone, the concentration should be less than 0.02%. Heating under acidic conditions results in the disappearance of sweetness. And it can form bitter and ignorant o-aminosulfonylbenzoic acid. Easy to dissolve in water (1g/1.5m1), slightly soluble in ethanol (1g/50m1).

Application
Sodium Saccharin is white crystal or power with inodorous or slight sweetness, easily soluble in water.
Sodium Saccharin sweetness is around 500 times sweeter than that of sugar.
To be used as a single sweetener, Sodium Saccharin tastes a little bitter.Normally Sodium Saccharin is recommended to be used along with other Sweeteners or acidity regulators, which could cover the bitter taste well.
