Tert-butyl hydroquinone (TBHQ) is a vital product of our food additives and food ingredients. It is almost insoluble in water (about 5 ‰), but is soluble in ethanol, acetic acid, ethyl ester, aether and vegetable oil, lard, and so on. Tert-butyl hydroquinone plays the role of antisepsis for most of the oils, especially vegetable oil. It will not change color when meets iron and copper, but it will turn into pink when there is alkali.

Application
1. The antioxidant effect of this product is very ideal, stronger than BHA, butylated hydroxytoluene, PG 5 ~ 7 times. It is suitable for plant and animal fats and rich fat food, especially suitable for vegetable oil, salad oil, blend oil, high cooking oil is the preferred antioxidants. It also can effectively delay the fat oxidation, improve the stability of food to significantly extend the shelf life of grease and fat rich food.
2.It has high temperature resistant, it can be used for instant noodles, cake and other fried foods, the highest temperature can reach 230 ºC above.
3. A dose of pluripotent,it can effectively inhibit the growth of bacteria and mold. In the range
