1. Used as raw materials for resins, plasticizers, surfactants, emulsifiers and demulsifiers, as well as antifreeze and heat carriers.
2. Used as gas chromatographic fixative, solvent, antifreeze, plasticizer and dehydrator.
3. Carrier solvent; Wetting agents; Moisturizing factor; Anticaking agent. Antioxidants; Tissue improver; Surfactant; Stabilizing agent; Thickener; Dough regulator; Emulsifier; Seasoning; Excipients; Processing AIDS.
It is mainly used as a solvent for various flavors, colors, preservatives, vanilla beans, roasted coffee granules, natural flavors, etc. A moisturizing and softening agent for candies, breads, packaged meats, cheeses, etc. It can also be used as an anti - mildew agent for noodles and stuffing.
