Ammonium oxalate is an inorganic substance with the chemical formula (NH4)2C2O4, soluble in water and slightly soluble in
ethanol. The aqueous solution is acidic. In the laboratory, ammonium oxalate can generate precipitation with calcium and
magnesium ions in the solution, and remove calcium and magnesium ions in the solution by filtration.
