 Colorless liquid.Soluble in ethanol, ether, acetone and other organic solvents.It is almost insoluble in water, and its solubility in water at 20ºC is 0.14g/100ml.Butyl acrylate is mainly used to make polymer monomers of fiber, rubber and plastic.The organic industry is used to make adhesives, emulsifiers and intermediates for organic synthesis.The paper industry is used to make paper reinforcing agents.The paint industry is used to make acrylate paints.

 Butyl acetate is a kind of carboxylic acid ester synthetic flavor, also known as butyl acetate, colorless transparent liquid with strong fruit flavor, can be mixed with ethanol, ether, soluble in most organic solvents, slightly soluble in water, solubility in water is 0.05g.The vapors have a weak anesthetic effect, with an air concentration of 0.2g/l.This product has strong fruit aroma, after dilution has pleasant pineapple, banana-like aroma, persistence is extremely poor.It is found naturally in many vegetables, fruits and berries.Butyl acetate is less used in daily chemical flavor, mainly used in food flavor formula.
