Characteristics:
White rhombic or crystalline powder. Odorless, slightly sweet taste. It melts and decomposes at 253ºC. Soluble in water at high temperature, 25°C solubility of 20.5g/100ml. The isoelectric point is PH6.16. Insoluble in ethanol, ether and chloroform.
Using:
L-threonine is an essential amino acid, threonine is mainly used in chemical reagents, food fortifier, feed additives and so on.
Function:
Threonine is an important nutritional fortifier that fortifies cereals, pastries and dairy products, and has the same restorative, growth-promoting effects as tryptophan.
