Trisodium Phosphate (TSP) In food processing industry, it is used as buffering agent, emulsifier, antitacking agent, antioxidant additive, nutrition supplement, metal chelation.

Properties of Trisodium Phosphate TSP :

Colorless or white acicular crystal; Be soluble in water (the water solution is alkaline), insoluble in organic solvent; Relative density 1.62(20° C); Melting point 73.3-76.7° C (decomposition); Effloresce in dry air, dewatering to anhydrous matter at 100° C (Na3PO4).

Trisodium Phosphate used as water softener, cleaning agent in electroplating, boiler compound, mental antirusting agent, dyestuff intermediate desiccant, sugar juice purifying agent, photographic developer, coagulating agent of rubber late, color fixer in fabric dyeing and flux in enamel ware manufacturing and so on.
