Silicon carbide (SiC), also known as carbon silica, gold steel sand, or refractory sand, is a refractory material made by high-temperature smelting of quartz sand, petroleum coke (or coal coke), and wood chips through a resistance furnace. It is a non-metallic carbide formed by covalent bonding between silicon and carbon elements.

Application:
1. Silicon carbon can be used as metallurgical deoxidizer and high temperature resistant materials in smelting.
2. It can also be used as abrasive materials,which can be used to make abrasive tools,such as grinding wheels, oilstones, grinding head and so on.
Advantages:
(1) Large melting furnace, longer melting time, lead to more crystallization, bigger crystals, higher purity and less impurities.
(2) Good hardness, longer life.
(3) Chemical washed and water washed good cleanness.
(4) Special treated products get higher purity, better toughness, and better grinding effect.

Q1: How about the validity of the offer?
A: Usually, quotation is valid for 1 week. However, the validity period may be affected by
factors such as ocean freight, raw material prices, etc.
Q2: What is the payment method you can accept?
A: We usually accept T/T, L/C.
Q3: May I get some samples from your side?
A: Yes, of course. We'd like to provide 100-500 g free sample to you, which depends on
product you need. You just need bear the express freight, but we will refund you after you
place bulk order.
Q4: How about lead time?
A: In general the lead time is 2-3 weeks, sometimes it can be shorter or longer
Q5: What kind of package do you have?

Q6: Which documents can you supply?
